Name: Nora Farkas, alias Helen Arany

Personality:
• Bright
• Sharp
• Jovial
• Selfish
• Secretive
• Proud

Helen's only goal is to live a life filled with dazzlingly bright golden days, doing as she pleases and destroying what she hates. She dives into adventure and danger with a smile that never fades. She falls in and out of love easily, always happy to have enjoyed it rather than heartbroken it ended.

She has no sense of justice- she just thinks seeing people picking on the weak or enjoying other people's suffering ruins her day, which is unacceptable. She's often thought of as overtly heroic- but really, she's just doing what she wants.

She is so prideful she would rather win disastrously than turn tail. She absolutely refuses to let anyone help her stand if she falls.

World History:

Humans share the fantastic world of magic, Terra, with monsters they have warred against since time immemorial. Time and again, the monsters would gain a Demon King who would threaten the human race- but each time a legendary hero would emerge, chosen by the almighty Hero Medal! Humans progressed, science and technology marching on hand in hand. Such was the cycle of history...

Until the hero Folio failed.

The ensuing battle between the entire human species and the races of monsters devastated the world, Terra now only ruins. The battle long over, humans and monsters struggle to survive in their hopeless world.

One such human, Nora Farkas, was a princess of the 'Royalty of Thieves.' She and her identical twin sister were born on a battlefield, though Helen was dropped into the mud and blood on her first day. Her potential awakened on her first day, she took her first steps mere hours after birth and that was just the start of a life of Herculean feats.

Helen's adventures spanned the globe, and with her incredible power and strength of spirit, she left many legends in her wake. She rarely achieved personal fame for the simple fact she didn't associate herself strongly with anyone- Helen merely wandered the world and did as she pleased. She was often thought of as a better person than she was. People would consider her heroic or an ally of justice, but in truth, she mostly wanted to challenge herself or get rid of the things she hated to see. Thankfully that often coincided with doing good. She made many friends and had her fair share of romances, a few students, but Helen left them all behind as she travelled- as someone who had never needed anyone, she also never recognised the pain of being without someone you need. Helen even left behind children- she had two daughters during her adventures, each time leaving them to be cared for by someone she trusted. She collected numerous epithets, with few realising the Golden Wolf, The Queen, the Beautiful Beast and others were the same woman.

This is the typical canon point of this journal.

She eventually came across one of the last elves, an astoundingly kindhearted woman named Ece. She became the first person who stayed beside Helen, as she accepted the quest to escort Ece across the world to find another elf named Khan, Ece's husband. During their travels, Helen fell in love with Ece, not another of her short bursts of adoration but true, pure love. Enough that when it became apparent Khan was held captive in the only monster country, Hell, she went to retrieve him- Knowing it would make Ece happy. In the battle to defeat Hell's gate guardian, Cerberus, she lost an arm, half her face and hobbled a leg. But succeeded in her goal, which was the only thing that mattered.

However, for the first time, she failed. She wasn't able to win Ece's love. Though both Ece and Khan loved Helen like family, it wasn't what she wanted. She wanted to be the person Ece loved most in the world. She finally knew the pain of being without someone you need, crippled and disfigured, she left them as she couldn't stand to see them together.

A romance with a scientist named Cedric Staines rekindled some of her confidence, but it was the revelation she was pregnant for the third time that got her through her melancholy. Now knowing the pain of not having someone you need, she devoted herself to her son- settling down to raise him in a relatively safe area of the world, always planning to go find her other children when he was strong enough to travel.

Unfortunately, her injuries continuously weakened her and she was eventually killed in battle, protecting others from an opponent she would not have even noticed in her prime- but still succeeded in her mission of protecting her son.

She got the last laugh as always because she reincarnated, by force of will, as Ece and Khan's child- someone they both unashamedly admit they love more than each other.

Appearance:

Helen is a pretty faced woman whose bright smiles and confidence in her looks only help her stand out. She has a lithe and muscular figure, without an ounce of fat on her.

She has grey-blue eyes and dark blonde hair, with a beauty mark under her left eye.

She's pretty dang short at 4' 11.

After her battle with Cerberus, she has only a small stump of a left arm, a withered left leg and much of the left side of her body is burnt. She usually keeps her left eye closed, but the milky eye is still there.

Abilities:

Helen's Human Power, the ability to transform the user's strength of spirit in combat power, was awakened on the first day of her life. She further refined it throughout her life and obtained strength enough to be comparable to a natural disaster. She developed a martial art's style called the Arany Style that drew from many sources, including ballet. After her injuries, she lost a great deal of her herculean strength and in particular her stamina, but found the pinnacle of skill when adapting her techniques. The original Arany style utilised a gigantic and heavy sword in one hand and a massively weighty shield in the other (which she referred to as a 'hammer') that was used to balance out the swings more than defend. After being left with one arm, she refined her techniques to the point that was unnecessary and increased their power to compensate for the fact she had to end fights quickly.

During her adventures, Helen spent a year at a prestigious magic academy, choosing to leave before her training was complete so that she wouldn't learn 'bad habits' and developed her magic into an atrociously powerful combat style with little utility outside of battle. Her signature spell summoned a meteor (though this could be as a small as a bullet).

Her most powerful technique, never perfected in her lifetime, was the White Blade. A culmination of all of her skill with martial arts, magic and swordswomanship, it involved casting hundreds of light-based spells with her left hand, into her right hand, reflecting them repeatedly to collide with one another until they formed a synchronised sphere. She'd then guide it with her sword. Used only once at full power, in the battle with Cerberus.

Her sword is named Eternal Sunlight and her shield is Blue Moon.

Other notes:

Though his world has minimal direct geographical equivalents, she's from a central European region. Probably the closest parallel would be Hungary. She settled in an area roughly analogous to Bulgaria.

Helen has a wolf animal theme. She was a lone wolf, who eventually became a mama wolf, had a wolf in her belly and was thrown to the wolves. Amongst others.
